Congradulations to you Shypapette! I have witnessed how hard it can be to quit (my wife used to smoke).
Glad that you have gotten the upper hand on it! Especially if it is going to help Darth Pooh in his quest!

I won't be looking at it quite that way Shypappette. For me it will be a "just for today"
type thing. Kind of like the various 12 step program's "One day at a time" mentality. My psyche
seems to deal with this type of thing better that way
Good job!

Congratulations! To you and to DP.
I agree with your philosophy DP, one day at a time. I don't smoke, but I have to do that with myself for things like trying to keep on my exercise program (it's tough to want to work out after working all day... just wanna flop, ya know?), and for keeping a positive frame of mind (you know, convincing myself the world doesn't suck and isn't just a great big cesspool). Congrats Pappette!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
good for you, lady!!
thats great! keep up the good work! your heart and lungs with thank you someday!
Thanks to all of your congradulations.
I completely agree with the one day at a time strategy, however I think it's a little of both. You have to think one day at a time, but still, the only way this was going to work for me was if I started getting used to the fact that there was no more smoking for me. I think if you're too easy on yourself it's way easier to cheat. Just my process anyway.
Congrats, did you quit over night?
